Are you also working ON your business, or only IN your business?

  Oh No! My dog ran away just as I was bringing the car in through the gate. Trusty was from a hunting dog breed. As soon as he smelled something interesting, he was gone. He always followed the smell with great energy, paying attention to nothing else. Eventually, he stops, and looks surprised: where's home? Where am I? He has no idea. So he just sits down and howls, hoping I hear and come rescue him and bring him home. Some business owners are like Trusty, they industriously follow this idea, or that request, nose on the ground following that very interesting trail without looking where they are going.
